In April the Faculty Senate will take up consideration of a proposal to create Teaching Professor titles. Please join us for an MTEI lunch about this proposal on Thursday, March 28, noon – 1 pm, in Rhodes 195. The lunch will be hosted by Michael Clarkson and Alan Zehnder, who are members of the taskforce that drafted the proposal. We’ll give an overview of the proposal, answer questions about it, and receive feedback from members of the Engineering and Bowers CIS communities. This event will present the same planned content as the Faculty Forum scheduled for March 27 (as announced by the Dean of Faculty in the Monday Message on March 19), but the lunch is an opportunity for a smaller group discussion.
