Mid-Semester Feedback Fall 2024
What are students thinking about your course so far? Are all the basic logistics working? Do they know what they should be learning? How is the work-load and level? Do they find the content and delivery engaging?
The MTEI course feedback program can tell you all this and more. MTEI will handle the logistics of the student feedback survey and send you a report with the responses.

All Ithaca -based regular courses in AEP, BME, CS, CEE, ECE, ORIE, MAE, MSE, SYSEN, and nearly all in CBE are included. BEE, EAS, IS and Statsci courses are included by request.
Increasing Student Participation
Increase the value of your course report by encouraging your students to participate in the survey. They will get an email from “<Associate Dean Alan Zehnder> invitation@surveys.mail.cornell.edu” with their link to the survey.
Participation usually increases if the professor let’s students know they want to hear how the course is working for them. Giving an extra point somewhere for participation or including the survey as homework usually pulls participation to nearly all students so you really see opinions across the course. You can ask Orlay Santa, ods8, for a list of participants after you receive your report.
